Despite setting up a flourishing information technology firm in Kisumu, this did not deter him from pursuing his passion in education and attaining a doctoral degree.

His interest in the field of IT was ignited a year after graduating with a degree in IT from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in 2007.

His interest in the field of IT was ignited a year after graduating with a degree in IT from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in 2007.

“From a humble beginning, we started Sumo Computers that provides IT solutions and computer hardware sales.”

He later enrolled at the Bondo-based Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology for a Master’s degree in IT, security and audit before advancing the same at Kabarak University in Nakuru.

“I used to drive to Nakuru and back to Kisumu on the weekends that I had classes,” said the father of one who was born and bred at the lakeside city.

As the Technical Director at Sumo Company, his work entails overseeing the technical department.

He points out that his current role as the chairman of Ugenya Technical and Vocational College offers him satisfaction and the opportunity to give back to society.
